Cowgirl Tennis Fourth in ITA Preseason Rankings

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team came in at No. 4 in Monday's ITA Preseason Team Rankings.
The ranking extends the Cowgirls' streak to 17-straight weeks in the top five, dating back to last season, including a stretch of 12-consecutive weeks at No. 1.
The four teams ahead of OSU are Georgia, defending national champion Texas A&M and Stanford. UCLA, North Carolina, Texas, Michigan, Virginia and Pepperdine round out the top-10.
UCF is the only other Big 12 team appearing in the rankings, coming in at No. 25, and they are among five of Oklahoma State's scheduled opponents in the top-25, joining Michigan (8), Pepperdine (10), Auburn (12) and Ohio State (15).
The Cowgirls will open the season on Jan. 15 against Wyoming at the Greenwood Tennis Center, followed by a double-header against Texas State and Southeast Missouri State at home on Jan. 18.
