Cowgirl Indoor Track & Field Faces Biggest Weekend of Season Thus Far with Trips to Arkansas and Kansas State

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's and women's indoor track & field is back in action this Friday and Saturday, with most of the team splitting between the Razorback Invitational in Arkansas and the DeLoss Dodds Invitational, hosted by Kansas State.
The distance squad heads to Fayetteville, Ark., for the second time this month to take on the historic Razorback Invitational, which routinely brings some of the best competition in the country. A combined 14 ranked teams between the two genders competing.
Opening the proceedings are school record holders Mehdi Yanouri (800 Meters) and Laban Kipkemboi (Mile), each of whom will be competing in the men's 800 Meters Friday night at 5:40 p.m. CT. Indoor national champions Brian Musau, Fouad Messaoudi and Ryan Schoppe will each be competing in the Mile Saturday at 11:40 a.m. in what is shaping up to be one of the highlight races across the NCAA this weekend.
On the women's side, a multitude of Cowgirls will be competing in the 800 Meters and Mile immediately following the men's races on each day.
Over in Manhattan, Kan., for the DeLoss Dodds Invitational, the rest of the team will be competing in a host of events. Action kicks off Friday at noon as the multi-events squad opens with their first full Pentathlon and Heptathlons of the season. High Jump school-record holder Saara Hakanen will also attempt to extend her record in the High Jump on Friday night before returning Saturday for the Triple Jump.
Rounding out the weekend are a host of Cowboy and Cowgirl throwers, who will travel to Norman, Okla., for the second time in three weeks for the JD Martin Invitational. Two weeks ago, Emma Robbins made her Cowgirl debut with a school-record toss in the Weight Throw and will be looking to set an NCAA qualifying mark.
The Razorback Invitational will be streamed live on SEC Network + on both days, starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Live results for all three meets can be found below:
