Cowgirl Soccer’s Gordon Tabbed Big 12’s Best

IRVING, Texas – For the second time this season, Oklahoma State's Grace Gordon is the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week.
Gordon earned the award for her week three performance against San Diego State. The senior also picked up the honor for her play in week one.
With the 3-0 win at SDSU, the Cowgirls recorded their fifth consecutive shutout, one of only three times in program history they have posted five-straight clean sheets. In doing so, OSU improved to 5-0-0, its best start to a season since 2012.
Gordon tallied a season-high seven saves against the Aztecs, who recorded 20 shots and eight corner kicks in the match. Five of her saves came in the second half.
The shutout marked Gordon's fourth of the season, which ranks third nationally.
The performance also saw Gordon continue to move up OSU's career charts. She now ranks first in goals against average at 0.65 and eighth with 84 saves. The shutout was her 10th in a Cowgirl uniform, which is one shy of fifth on the program's all-time list.
