Cowgirl Soccer’s Geoffroy Named Big 12’s Best

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Ellie Geoffroy is the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week for Week Four.
Geoffroy, a junior center back, spearheaded an OSU defense that posted two more shutouts as it set a program record with seven consecutive clean sheets. The Cowgirls, who are one of just two teams nationally that have not allowed a goal this season, also remained undefeated on the season at 6-0-1.
In the shutout of Texas State, Geoffroy played the full 90 minutes and recorded three shots, two of those on goal.
On Sunday, Geoffroy helped keep ULM off the scoreboard after the Warhawks entered the match with a 6-0-0 record and averaging over three goals per game.
Geoffroy notched an assist in the game and was part of a defensive effort that held ULM to only five shots.
OSU has now had at least one Big 12 weekly award winner each week this season. Grace Gordon has twice been named Goalkeeper of the Week, while Mollie Breiner (Defensive Player of the Week) and Bella Pierotti (Freshman of the Week) also collected honors.
