Novak, Wood Named ITA Scholar-Athletes

STILLWATER- Kristina Novak and Ava Wood of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team were named 2024 ITA Scholar-Athletes, as was announced on Monday.
Novak, who just completed her fifth season of college tennis and second as a Cowgirl, earns the honor for the second consecutive season, while Wood, a freshman, is recognized for the first time.
Oklahoma State was also recognized as an All-Academic Team for the ninth time in program history and third consecutive season.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athletes, students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To qualify as an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale) with all included student-athletes listed on the institutional eligibility form and have all varsity letter winners factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
