Cowgirl Softball Boasts 12 Spring Academic All-Big 12 Selections

STILLWATER – 12 members of the Oklahoma State Softball team have been recognized as Academic All-Big 12 honorees, it was announced today.
Kyra Aycock, Megan Bloodworth, Scotland David, Lexi Kilfoyl, Katie Lott, Lexi McDonald, Sophie Page, Ivy Rosenberry, Haidyn Sokoloski and Claire Timm all picked up first team honors for the Cowgirls, while Audrey Schneidmiller and Micaela Wark earned spots on the second team. For David and Schneidmiller, it marks the second Academic All-Big 12 honors of their respective careers.
Since the Gajewski era began, OSU has had at least 10 Academic All-Big 12 honorees in eight of its last nine seasons.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
