July 02, 2024 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football leads the Big 12 with six student-athletes on the 2024 Preseason All-Big 12 Football Team that was announced Tuesday.
It marks the most preseason all-conference selections for OSU during the Big 12 era.
The four offensive selections, led by the preseason pick for the Offensive Player of the Year and the only unanimous selection to the team in running back Ollie Gordon II, are also more than any other team, while the two defensive selections tie for the most in the 16-team conference.
In addition to the 2023 Doak Walker Award winner in Gordon, OSU's offensive honorees are wide receiver Brennan Presley, center Joe Michalski and offensive lineman Dalton Cooper. Presley is a two-time All-Big 12 selection while Michalski finished 2023 as the power conference leader in offensive snaps played and Cooper enters 2024 as the team's leader in career FBS starts with 49.
OSU's defensive honorees are returning Big 12 leading tackler Nick Martin and three-time All-Big 12 team member Collin Oliver.
With the season-opening game set for August 31 at Boone Pickens Stadium, less than nine weeks remain until the 2024 season kicks off. Oklahoma State football season tickets are sold out, but fans can purchase a mini-plan that includes tickets to home games against Utah, West Virginia and Texas Tech.
