Kajuru Named ITA Most Improved Player

STILLWATER- Ange Oby Kajuru of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team was named the ITA Most Improved Player, as was announced on Thursday.
The junior becomes the first Cowgirl in program history to earn the national honor after going 20-3 in singles and 20-4 in doubles while remaining in the top-10 of the singles and doubles rankings throughout the season.
The award adds to a list of accolades for Kajuru in 2024 that includes All-America selections in singles and doubles, Big 12 Player of the Year honors, All-Big 12 First Team selections in singles and doubles, Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team selections in singles and doubles and an ITA Indoor National Championship All-Tournament Team selection.
Kajuru also made her mark on the record books in her first season as a Cowgirl, finishing with the most singles wins in a season in the Big 12 era (38), tied for third most singles dual wins in a season in the Big 12 era (20) and tied for the eighth most doubles dual wins in a season in the Big 12 era (20).
