Kilfoyl, Davis and Godwin Awarded D1Softball and Softball America All-America Honors

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball's Lexi Kilfoyl was named a D1Softball and Softball America first team All-American and the freshman duo of Rosie Davis and Karli Godwin received freshman All-American honors by Softball America.
Kilfoyl, the Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Year, first team All-Big 12 pitcher and a finalist for USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, has been a staple of excellence in the circle this year for the Cowgirls. She is the only Cowgirl in program history to be named a top three finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year.
The right-hander boasts 1.06 ERA and a 26-3 record over 171 innings pitched. Kilfoyl ranks second in the nation in ERA and sixth in victories. The Land O' Lakes, Fla., native led the Big 12 in ERA, shutouts (seven), and victories.
The postseason has brought out the best in Kilfoyl as she has picked up wins in all five postseason games for the Cowgirls, hurling 28 innings and racking up 27 strikeouts in those outings.
Godwin, the 2023 Gatorade Player of the Year in North Carolina, picked up first team All-Big 12 honors in the infield, All-Big 12 freshman team recognition and was a top-10 finalist for the TUCCI/NFCA D1 Softball Freshman of the Year.
The Cowgirls' cleanup hitter holsters a .344 BA to go along with 15 home runs, 51 RBIs and a team-leading 13 doubles.
The former all-state honoree in Tenn., Davis nabbed an All-Big 12 freshman team selection after turning in an exceptional 2024 campaign at second base for the Cowgirls.
Davis hit .344 for OSU this spring, tallying eight home runs and 33 RBIs. The second baseman is also tied for second on the team in doubles.
Godwin and Davis join teammate Tallen Edwards as the only freshman in the Gajewski-era to pick up freshman All-American honors.
Kilfoyl, Godwin, Davis and the Cowgirls begin play at the NCAA Women's College World Series on Thursday as they take on the No. 4 national seed Florida at 8:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
