Kajuru, Komar Become All-Americans, Advance in NCAA Individual Championships

STILLWATER– Ange Oby Kajuru and Anastasiya Komar of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individual Championships at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Wednesday.

The second-seeded Cowgirl duo defeated No. 44 Kira Reuter and Amelia Honer of UCSB in a tiebreaker, 7-5, 4-6 [10-6] to advance to the Elite Eight and clinch All-American status. This is Komar's third All-America selection and first as a Cowgirl, while Kajuru collects her second All-America honor, both coming this season.

Kajuru and Komar will continue their run through the doubles draw against No. 33 Anessa Lee and Celia-Belle Mohr of Vanderbilt at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Greenwood Tennis Center.

In singles, No. 3 Kajuru saw her tournament come to an end against No. 13 Mohr, falling 7-6 (8-6), 1-6, 6-7 (3-7).
