• The Cowboys will be one of 14 teams in action at The Farms Golf Club. OSU enters play as the No. 5 seed with Arizona State serving as the top seed, Washington is No. 2 and Oklahoma is the No. 3 seed. Regional action will consist of 54 holes over three days with play getting underway on Monday and running through Wednesday with 18 holes being played each day.
• OSU will be grouped with No. 4 seed California and No. 6 North Florida for its first round and will begin play at 8:30 a.m. (PST).

• The par-70, 6,962-yard layout is one of six regional sites that will see the top five teams and the low individual not on those teams advance to the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. The finals are slated for May 24-29.
OSU In Regional Play
• OSU leads the nation with 16 regional titles, seven more than the second-best total. The Cowboys have won seven regional titles in nine tries under the direction of head coach Alan Bratton, including a run of six consecutive from 2016-22.
• The Cowboys opened with consecutive regional titles in 1989 and 1990 before adding their third in 1997. OSU went back-to-back again in 2002 and 2003 before adding another in 2006. The Cowboys reeled off three consecutive wins from 2009-11. After finishing first in 2014, OSU ran off six in a row from 2016-2022.
Individual Success
In 2022, Eugenio Chacarra wrapped up medalist honors at the NCAA Columbus Regional to become the 12th Cowboy to do so. Kevin Wentworth won consecutive titles in 1989 and 1990 before Alan Bratton took top honors in 1995. Bo Van Pelt added his name to the list of medalists in 1997 before Jonathan Moore won nine years later. Kevin Tway won in 2008 and 2009 before Peter Uihlein's victory in 2010. Tway became the first-ever player to win three regional crowns with his victory in 2011. Jordan Niebrugge and Kristoffer Ventura went back-to-back in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Current Cowboys in Regional Play
OSU's lineup will consist of fifth year Rayhan Thomas, seniors Jonas Baumgartner and Bo Jin as well as freshmen Gaven Lane and Preston Stout. Fifth year Dillon Stewart will serve as the squad's substitute.
• Baumgartner fired a closing 63 a year ago in Las Vegas to finish fifth and advance to the NCAA Championship at 15-under 201.
• He competed in the first round of the NCAA Stillwater Regional in 2021 and shot 75.
• Baumgartner tied for seventh at the NCAA Columbus Regional in 2022 with a 1-under total of 212.
• Jin was runner-up as a freshman at the NCAA Stillwater Regional in 2021 with a 9-under total of 207.
• He tied for 40th place in Columbus with a 6-over total of 210. Last year, he tied for 49th in Las Vegas at 1-under 215.
