Cowboy Golf Back In Action This Weekend In Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will return to action this weekend when it takes part in the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club.
The Cowboys will be one of 15 teams in the field at the par-72, 7,086-yard layout. The 54-hole event will consist of 36 holes on Saturday with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. (EST). Sunday's final round is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. as well.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad is coming off a sixth-place finish at the Duck Invitational in its last outing at the end of March.
The Cowboy lineup this week will consist of fifth year Rayhan Thomas, seniors Jonas Baumgartner and Bo Jin as well as freshmen Preston Stout and Gaven Lane.
OSU has won the event on two previous occasions, capturing the team title in 2011 and again in 2021. Current PGA Tour standout Kevin Tway was the event's medalist in 2011.
Following the event, the Cowboys will stay in Augusta to attend Monday's practice round for The Masters where four former Pokes are in the field for the year's first major.
Four Pokes, fifth years Hazen Newman and Dillon Stewart, sophomore John Wild and freshman Johnnie Clark will compete this week as well at an individual event at WinStar Golf Club.
