STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has added a veteran piece to its backcourt in transfer Alexia Smith it was announced this week by Cowgirl head coach Jacie Hoyt.
"Alexia just took our roster to another level of athleticism and experience. Defensively, she has a tenacity to her that will make her a natural leader on that end of the floor. Offensively, she is a Swiss Army knife … she is very solid at everything," Hoyt said.
"I am most excited about her ability to rebound as a guard and her toughness on the glass is going to help us with her up-tempo offense we want to play."
