Cowboy Basketball to face Seton Hall in 2024 Big 12-Big East Battle

Oklahoma State men's basketball will travel to Seton Hall on Sunday, Dec. 8 as part of the Big 12-BIG EAST Battle the leagues announced Thursday.

The teams have met just one other time – in the 2000 East Regional Semifinals in Syracuse, N.Y. The Cowboys won that game 68-66 to advance to the Elite Eight.

OSU-Seton Hall is one of 11 matchups between teams from the Big 12 and BIG EAST conferences scheduled to take place from Dec. 3-8, 2024.

This is year No. 6 of the Battle. The Cowboys have previously hosted games against Creighton (2023), Xavier (2021) and Georgetown (2019) and made trips to Marquette (2020) and UConn (2022).

Matchups are jointly determined by the two conferences, with the home team choosing the venue of its game. Broadcast arrangements for the contests will be determined by the national television rights holder of the home team, which is FOX Sports for the BIG EAST and ESPN for the Big 12.

Game times and television networks will be announced when available.
