• Javon Small posted a career-high 34 points on 10-of-19 shooting (5-of-9 3PT) against the Cougars. Small's effort marked the most points by a Cowboy since Avery Anderson III scored 34 points against Iowa State on Jan. 26, 2022.
• Javon Small became one of eighth OSU guards to score 30+ points in a game since 2010, joining Jawun Evans (42), Keiton Page (40), Cade Cunningham (40), Marcus Smart (39), Avery Anderson (34), Phil Forte (31) and Markel Brown (30) in the elite class.
• Small became the first Cowboy to score 30+ points as the team's only double-digit scorer since tracking began in 2010.
• With one made 3-pointer on Saturday, John-Michael Wright's streak of multiple three-pointers ended at 13 games. Obi Muonelo owns the OSU record in the category, rattling multiple threes in 17 straight games.
