Cowboys Remain In 13th Place In Cabo

Round 2 Results
LOS CABOS, Mexico. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 291 during its second round at the Cabo Collegiate on Monday to remain in 13th place at Twin Dolphin Club.
OSU's 7-over score gave the Cowboys a 20-over total of 588 through 36 holes. Arkansas moved to the top spot on the leaderboard, using a 278 to stand at 559 and one shot clear of Arizona State at the par-71, 7,156-yard layout.
Stanford's Michael Thorbjornsen climbed into the top spot in the individual race, carding a 65 to stand at 8-under 134 and one shot better than the field.
Fifth year Rayhan Thomas posted his second consecutive 72 to share 28th place at 2-over 144
Senior Jonas Baumgartner climbed 30 spots into a tie for 32nd place with a 2-under 69 to get to his 145 total. Baumgartner birdied two of his first three holes and put together a bogey-free front nine en route to his score.
Sophomore John Wild is competing individually and finished the day tied for 39th place at 146 after signing for a 74.
Senior Bo Jin carded an even-par 71 to stand at 148 and tied for 54th place.
Freshman Gaven Lane carded an 83 to share 70th place at 155, while classmate Preston Stout was a shot back at 156 and tied for 73rd place after posting a 79.
The Cowboys will begin their final round tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. and will be grouped with Rice and Columbia.
