Cowboys Continue West Coast Swing At Duck Invitational

EUGENE, Ore. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will travel up the west coast this week to compete at the Duck Invitational at Eugene Country Club.
The 54-hole event features 15 teams and will get underway on Monday at the par-71, 6,995-yard layout. Play will consist of 36 holes on Monday followed by Tuesday's third and final round.

The Cowboys are coming off a third-place showing at the Pauma Valley Invitational in California last week. At Pauma Valley Country Club, senior Jonas Baumgartner logged his second career victory, posting a birdie on his final hole to secure a one-shot victory. Baumgartner finished with a 204 total.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad will utilize the same starting five this week as well. In addition to Baumgartner, the Cowboys will have fifth year Rayhan Thomas, senior Bo Jin and freshmen Preston Stout and Gaven Lane in their starting five.
Sophomore John Wild and freshman Johnnie Clark will compete individually.
OSU won the team title in 2011, posting an eight-shot victory over tournament host Oregon. Former Cowboy All-American and current PGA Tour standout Kevin Tway led the way for OSU with a fifth-place showing in the individual race.
