STILLWATER – The top-ranked Oklahoma State women's tennis team completed a 7-0 sweep of No. 26 Baylor to close out an undefeated weekend at the Greenwood Tennis Center Sunday afternoon.

The win pushed the Cowgirls to 17-0 on the season and 6-0 in conference play, putting them one win shy of matching the best start in program history (1981). The loss drops Baylor to 14-5 on the season and 5-1 in conference play.

Oklahoma State made quick work of doubles. On court two, Ayumi Miyamoto and Raquel Gonzalez beat Miska Kadlechova and Danielle Tuhten of Baylor, 6-3.

Court one followed suit soon after as Cowgirls Kristina Novaks and Safiya Carrington took down Zuzanna Frankowska and Daniella Dimitrov, 6-2.

No. 5 Anastasiya Komar and Ange Oby Kajuru had their match left unfinished while leading Baylor's Zuzanna Kubacha and Sierra Berry, 5-4.

Singles play opened with No. 4 Kajuru defeating Berry 6-1, 6-4. The lead was quickly stretched to 3-0 in favor of Oklahoma State, as Novak dominated Dimitrov, 6-1, 6-2, improving her singles record this season to 12-0.

Court four sealed the match for the Cowgirls as No. 84 Miyamoto beat Tuhten 6-1, 6-1. No. 7 Komar then took down Baylor's No. 101 Kadlechova 6-3, 6-3. The lead was extended to 6-0, as Gonzalez bested Dimitrov in a super-breaker 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7).

No. 54 Lucia Peyre completed the clean sweep of the Bears, beating Kubacha in a back-and-forth affair, 6-0, 1-6, 6-1.

The Cowgirls will be back in action with a pair of ranked road matches next weekend, taking on No. 7 Texas on Friday before facing No. 21 Oklahoma on Sunday.
