Cowboys in the NFL: Week 12
November 27, 2024 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – Several former Oklahoma State Football stars saw the headlines with their performances this past week in the National Football League. A look at some of the highlights:
Jaylen Warren has continued to turn in solid performances as he's made his impact felt with the Pittsburgh Steelers since returning from injury in week seven. With that rush, Warren notched his first touchdown of the season. In addition to the score, Warren finished with 45 yards on 11 carries plus three receptions for 19 yards. The former Poke has now recorded over 40 rushing yards in four straight games while tallying multiple receptions in five consecutive contests as well. Warren will look to keep that momentum going this week in a road matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals at noon on Sunday.
After signing a four-year contract extension with the Carolina Panthers a few weeks ago, former Cowboy Chuba Hubbard just continues to prove his worth. Hubbard tallied 58 yards and that touchdown in a tough matchup last week against the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. The versatile back has four touchdowns in his last three games and will hope to add to that total this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday.
Malcolm Rodriguez delivered his best performance of the season last week against the Indianapolis Colts, and rightfully was rewarded with one of the game balls from Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell. Rodriguez led the team with a season-high eight tackles, seven of which were solo efforts. He'll seek to build on that performance this week as his Lions take on the Chicago Bears at 11:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Justice Hill keeps making significant impacts for the Baltimore Ravens this season as he turned in another notable performance last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. Hill carried the ball four times for 55 yards, highlighted by that 51-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He also caught the ball twice for seven yards. Hill and his Ravens will look to continue that momentum this week against the Philadelphia Eagles, with kickoff set for 3:25 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
