Three Cowgirls to Compete in NCAA Individual Championships

STILLWATER – Three Cowgirls appeared on the NCAA Individual Championship selection list, as was released Monday by the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Subcommittee.
Ange Oby Kajuru, Anastasiya Komar and Gracie Epps are among the 64 players that will enter the singles draw, with Kajuru set to do so as the sixth seed. The tournament will take place from Nov. 18-23 in Waco, Texas.
This is the first time the NCAA Individual Championships are being played in the fall, as opposed to the spring alongside the team championships. Each player had to earn their way into the tournament by way of qualifying tournaments throughout the fall.
Kajuru earned her spot at the ITA All-American Championships in September, where she reached the quarterfinals. Komar's ITA Central Regional title clinched her bid in October while Epps played her way in with a runner-up finish at the ITA Conference Masters last weekend.
