Cowboys in the NFL: Week Five
October 08, 2024 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – Many former Oklahoma State football stars turned in notable performances during week five of the NFL season this past weekend. Here's a look at some of the highlights:
Emmanuel Ogbah stayed hot with another solid day of work en route to a 15-10 win on the road over the New England Patriots. The former Poke finished with four total tackles and a sack, his second sack of the season. Following a bye this week, Ogbah and the Dolphins will look to keep their momentum rolling next week as they travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts, set for a noon kickoff on October 20.
Former Cowboy Amen Ogbongbemiga finished with the best day of his young Chicago Bears career last weekend as he totaled three tackles to help lead the Bears to a 36-10 triumph over the Carolina Panthers. He'll look to build on that performance this week as the Bears travel to London to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with kickoff slated for 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Chuba Hubbard continues to piece together some of the best performances from any running back in the league this year with another great day on Sunday. Hubbard averaged 7.5 yards per carry last week, rushing for 97 yards and a touchdown in a loss against the Bears, 36-10. On the season, Hubbard ranks fifth in the league with 393 yards. Hubbard and his Panthers will seek to get back to winning ways this week as they host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday with a 3:25 p.m. kickoff.
Former Poke Tylan Wallace earned some praise from his head coach, John Harbaugh, for his performance this past week. Wallace hauled in a pair of catches for 31 yards, with both grabs coming in crunch time in the fourth quarter. He'll look to expand on that performance this week as the Ravens host the Commanders on Sunday at noon.
