Four Cowboys Named to Lombardi Award Watch List

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State linebackers Nick Martin and Collin Oliver and offensive linemen Dalton Cooper and Joe Michalski were named to the 2024 Lombardi Award watch list, announced Thursday by the Lombardi Award Committee.

The watch list features 97 of the nation's top linemen and linebackers based on their performances during the 2024 season. A winner will be awarded on December 11, 2024, in Houston, Texas.

A redshirt junior out of Texarkana, Texas, Martin has had another impressive season for Oklahoma State, compiling 47 tackles in five games, including 16 in the win over Arkansas. He's also tallied 7.5 tackles for loss, a sack and both a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Oliver made his impact felt in the season-opening win over South Dakota State, logging two tackles for loss, a sack and five quarterback hurries, but has been forced to remain on the sidelines due to injury since exiting early in the win against Arkansas.

Both in their redshirt senior seasons, Cooper and Michalski anchor an OSU offensive line that ranks fifth nationally and first in the Big 12 in sacks allowed, and they have combined to appear in 110 collegiate games.
