Cowboys Wrap Up Fall Slate At Stephens Cup

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule this week when it competes at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup at Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club.
The 14th-ranked Cowboys will be one of six teams in action at the par-70, 6,964-yard layout. OSU will be joined in the field by Arkansas, Florida State, Oklahoma, San Diego State and SMU on the men's side. Six women's teams will be in action as well, including OSU's squad. Additionally, invitations were extended to 12 individuals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and United States Service Academies.
This year marks the second time in its four-year history OSU has competed at the event. The Cowboys were in the field two years ago at historic Seminole Golf Club.
Head coach Alan Bratton's lineup will be comprised of sophomores Ethan Fang, Preston Stout, Eric Lee and Gaven Lane as well as freshman Filip Falhberg-Johnsson.
The event will consist of 54 holes of stroke play with 36 holes being contested on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The first round will begin at 7:45 a.m. with the second round slated for a 12:30 p.m. start. Golf Channel's live coverage will run from 4-7 p.m.
Tuesday's round will begin at 11:20 a.m. with Golf Channel providing live coverage from 3-6 p.m.
Wednesday's match play portion of the event will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Golf Channel covering the action from 3-6 p.m.
