Cowboys in the NFL: Week Four
October 01, 2024 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – Week four of the NFL season provided many highlights for former Oklahoma State Football stars, with Chuba Hubbard continuing his good run of form, Emmanuel Ogbah snagging an interception with the help of his legs, and Mason Rudolph entering the game and leading his team to victory. A look at all the highlights from the past week for our Cowboys in the NFL:
Hubbard kept up his hot streak with another 100+ yard day, marking the first time in his career he's rushed for at least 100 yards in back-to-back games. The former Cowboy finished with 104 yards on 18 carries and a rushing touchdown, his first of the season. He added 17 yards on four receptions through the air. After dropping a hard-fought game against the Cincinnati Bengals at home, Hubbard and his Carolina Panthers will look to get back on track this week against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, with kickoff slated for noon.
Justice Hill was a force to be reckoned with in the Baltimore Ravens' 35-10 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. Nine days removed from signing a two-year contract extension to stay in Baltimore, Hill proved his worth as he accounted for a touchdown and more than 90 all-purpose yards. He rushed for 18 yards but was a weapon through the air, securing all six of his targets for 78 yards and this receiving touchdown.
Hill and his Ravens are after their third-consecutive win this week as they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals on Sunday with a noon kickoff.
Ogbah pieced together his best performance of the young season, highlighted as he showed off his acrobatics to secure the second interception of his career. He finished with six total tackles, three solo tackles and three assisted tackles. Ogbah and his Miami Dolphins seek to put an end to their losing streak this week as they face off against the New England Patriots on Sunday at noon.
Malcolm Rodriguez shone on primetime as his Detroit Lions handled the Seattle Seahawks 42-29, on Monday Night football. He matched his best performance of the season, finishing with five tackles, including that impressive sack, the second time he's gotten to the quarterback in his NFL career. After a bye this week he'll look to keep it rolling against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Oct. 13, with kickoff set for 3:25 p.m.
Mason Rudolph made the most of his opportunity this week as he helped lead his Tennessee Titans to its first win of the season, and his first win as a Titan. After starting quarterback Will Levis went down with an injury, Rudolph stepped up, as he finished 9-for-17 with 85 yards. He effectively led the team down the field and played a key role in the team scoring its highest point total of the season. Following a bye this week, it'll be something to watch if Rudolph earns the starting job or not before the Titans next contest against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Oct. 13 at noon.
