Cowgirl Softball Picks Up No. 9 Ranking in USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll

STILLWATER – For the third consecutive year, the Oklahoma State softball team opens the season ranked in the top 10 nationally, as the Cowgirls are No. 9 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll that was announced today.

The Cowgirls entered 2022 ranked No. 5 and 2023 ranked No. 3.

It is the seventh consecutive year that OSU has a preseason top-25 national rank.

One of only two programs in the nation to reach the last four Women's College World Series, OSU returns four starters from last year's team that finished the season with a 47-16 record and a No. 6 final national ranking.

The Pokes travel to Northridge, California, for their season opener against Cal State Northridge on Thursday, Feb. 8.
