Cowgirl Softball Picked to Finish Third in Big 12 Conference

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team is projected to finish third in the Big 12 Conference by the league's coaches, the conference announced today.

The Cowgirls are coming off a 10-8 season in conference play, highlighted by series sweeps over Baylor and Kansas.

OSU holds a 52-20 record in Big 12 conference play in the last four years, which trails only Oklahoma. In each of the last seven seasons, the Cowgirls haven't finished lower than third in Big 12 standings.

The Pokes open the season February 8 on the road at Cal State Northridge.
