Looking Ahead to Cowboys in the NFL

STILLWATER – Several former Oklahoma State Cowboy Football athletes begin their professional season this week, as the National Football League nears the beginning of its 2023-24 season.
18 former Cowboys, spread across 14 different NFL teams, made it to the final 53-man roster. In addition to that, five former Pokes are on NFL practice squads.
Jarrick Bernard-Converse, Tyler Lacy, Tanner McCalister, and Jason Taylor II round out the rookies who will be in action for the first time this week.
Following a stellar rookie campaign, former Cowboy Malcom Rodriguez and the Detroit Lions kick the season off against the defending Super Bowl Champions, Kansas City Chiefs, in the first game of the season this Thursday night, at 7:20 p.m. CDT.
The 2019 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, Chuba Hubbard and the Carolina Panthers take on Tre Flowers and the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday's first contest of the day, at 12 p.m. CDT.
Following that, Super Bowl 54 champion Tyreek Hill and former Cowboy Football standout Emmanuel Ogbah, both Miami Dolphins, battle Amen Ogbongbemiga and his Los Angeles Chargers, Sunday afternoon at 3:25 p.m. CDT.
In the week one finale, former Poke Jarrick Bernard-Converse and his New York Jets welcome the Buffalo Bills to MetLife Stadium for Monday Night Football, with kickoff slated for 7:15 CDT.
