Cowgirl Soccer's Wilson Collects Honors

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State midfielder Laudan Wilson garnered numerous accolades for her performances during Week Five.
Wilson was named the Big 12 Conference Freshman of the Week, and she also earned spots on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Women's Team of the Week and the College Soccer News Women's National Team of the Week.
In helping lead OSU to a pair of wins, Wilson recorded a goal and three assists in 161 minutes of action. Her five points tied for the most of any Big 12 player last week.
Wilson turned in a record-setting performance in her first-ever Big 12 game as she tallied assists on three of the Cowgirls' four goals in a win at Iowa State. The three assists tied a program record as she became the eighth OSU player to achieve the feat and first since 2011.
In Sunday's game against Abilene Christian, Wilson helped seal the win with a second-half goal in OSU's 2-0 victory that kept the Cowgirls undefeated at home this season.
Wilson is now tied for the team lead with five assists on the year while also contributing three goals.
OSU now counts three Big 12 weekly award winners this season as Wilson joins Alex Morris (Defensive POW, 8/30) and Hannah Chance (Offensive POW, 8/30).
