Series History: Cowboys Look to Remain Perfect Against South Alabama

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Cowboys look to remain unbeaten on the season and versus their opponent in Saturday's meeting versus the South Alabama Jaguars.
The Cowboys face the Jaguars for the third time in series history, with the teams' first meetings taking place in 2017 and 2018. Oklahoma State looks to extend its series lead to 3-0 on Saturday following a 44-7 victory in the first meeting, a 55-13 win in 2018 and a 99-20 margin across both contests.
Taylor Cornelius shined for the Cowboys in their last matchup, going to the air for 25 completions, 428 passing yards and a touchdown. Tylan Wallace had his breakout game in play, logging 10 receptions for 166 receiving yards, while Tyron Johnson added 137 yards across five receptions.
On the ground, Chuba Hubbard averaged 7.7 yards per carry en route to 46 yards a touchdown, while Justice Hill punched in two touchdowns off nine carries.
Defensively, the Cowboys held the Jaguars to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. The OSU defense was highlighted by Devin Harper, who took in a pick six in the third quarter.
