Series History: Oklahoma State Gears Up For Second-Ever Meeting Versus Central Arkansas

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Cowboys open their 2023 campaign Saturday as the team looks to win its 28th consecutive home opener in its meeting against the Central Arkansas Bears.
The Cowboys are taking on the Bears for just the second time in program history. UCA, playing out of the FCS United Athletic Conference, last faced OSU at Boone Pickens Stadium on Sept. 12, 2015.
To the tune of a sellout crowd, Oklahoma State opened play with 17 points unanswered and did not look back, winning 32-8. Sophomore quarterback Mason Rudolph logged a then career-high 401 passing yards in the contest, while David Glidden found the end zone twice, reeling in receiving touchdowns of 67 and 31 yards.
On the defensive front, OSU held up strong, holding the Bears to two-of-15 on third-down conversions.
Oklahoma State enters Boone Pickens Stadium hoping to extend its record home-opener winning streak, while Central Arkansas heads to Stillwater following a 5-6 campaign a season ago. Kick off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and the game will stream live on Big 12 on ESPN+ with Matt Schumaker and Brad Hopkins on the call.
