Dailey's FIBA U19 journey draws to a close

DEBRECEN, Hungary – The United States wrapped up a fourth-place showing at the FIBA U19 World Championship this weekend.
In seven tournament games, Oklahoma State freshman Eric Dailey Jr. averaged 9.7 points on 50% shooting, along with 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 block and 1.0 steal in 17.9 minutes-per-contest.
On a per-40-minute basis, he put up 21.8 points and 9.6 rebounds.
The United States won its first five games by an average of more than 38 points but missed out on the medal stand after an 89-86 semifinal loss to France and an 84-70 setback against Turkey in the third-place game.
