Cowboy Duo Earns All-Region Honors

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team had a pair of players honored on Saturday with the announcement of the NCAA Division I PING All-Region squads by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Jonas Baumgartner and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen were among those named to the All-Central Region Team.
Baumgartner has tallied five top-10 finishes on the year. He picked up his first career victory earlier this spring at the Mountaineer Invitational and had runner-up showings at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup and the Big 12 Championship. Additionally, the junior finished fifth at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional and was seventh at the N.I.T.
Baumgartner is currently ranked 29th in the Golfweek/Sagarin Ranking and No. 37 in Golfstat's ranking.
Neergaard-Petersen had a pair of top 10s to his credit this past season, finishing ninth at the Fighting Illini Invitational and seventh at the Haskins Award Invitational. The fifth year also had an 11th-place showing at the Big 12 Championship.
Neergaard-Petersen checks in at No. 44 in the Golfstat ranking and is 63rd according to Golfweek.
