Cowgirl Tennis Duo Selected To Compete In NCAA Individual Championships

STILLWATER – Two Oklahoma State Cowgirls were selected to compete at the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships, the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Subcommittee announced today.
The court one tandem of Ayumi Miyamoto and Raquel Gonzalez will represent the Cowgirls in doubles action. They hold an impressive 12-1 clip on the year with a 6-1 record in conference play.
Miyamoto and Gonzalez have garnered a couple of honors this season earning the Big 12 court one doubles championship and a spot on the All-Big 12 First Team.
32 doubles teams were selected to compete in the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships. The competition will be conducted May 22-28 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida, after the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 18-21.
All matches shall be the best of three sets. No-ad scoring and a seven-point tiebreaker (first to seven points, must win by two points) at six games all will be used for all matches. In doubles, a 10-point match tiebreaker will be played in lieu of a third set.
