STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team remained at No. 18 in the 2023 ITA Division I women's rankings released by the ITA on Tuesday.
It's the Cowgirl's sixth-straight week in the top 20 rankings.
OSU enters the postseason with a 14-6 overall and a 7-2 record in Big 12 conference play. The Cowgirls are coming off a successful weekend, taking down Kansas and Kansas State handedly.
OSU added another win against Kansas, sweeping the Jayhawks 4-0. The Cowgirls remained in Kansas to take on Kansas State, where they extended their winning streak against the Wildcats to 14 matches.
Additionally, three Cowgirls were ranked in the ITA Division I women's tennis rankings. The national rankings feature the top 125 singles players and the top 60 doubles teams in the country.
Alana Wolfberg checked in at No. 112 and has been ranked for the past five rankings. OSU's dominant duo of Ayumi Miyamoto and Raquel Gonzalez clocked in at No. 14. It's the Cowgirls' highest ranking this season. Miyamoto and Gonzalez have only lost one match since they joined forces and are on a three-match winning streak.
Next up, the Cowgirls enter postseason play at the Big 12 Championship Tournament in Lawrence, Kan., starting April 20.
