BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team surged into the lead after a strong opening nine to its second round at the Mountaineer Invitational on Monday at Pete Dye Golf Club.
The Cowboys grabbed the first-round lead with a 301 team total with their 13-over tally putting them one shot clear of West Virginia at the par-72, 7,308-yard layout. The Cowboys extended the margin to 17 after getting to 8-under par through 12 holes before play was called for the day.
