STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team has added a blue-chip transfer for the 2023-24 season with the signing of Safiya Carrington, it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Chris Young.
"We are excited to welcome Safiya to Cowgirl tennis next year," Young said. "I have known her and her family for many years and I'm excited to work with her. She has a lot of experience competing at the top of the lineup throughout her career and I believe her best tennis is still to come."
The Massachusetts native will make her way to Stillwater as a graduate transfer after spending four seasons at Louisiana State University (LSU).
