LOS CABOS, Mexico – Oklahoma State's men's golf team opened play at the Cabo Collegiate on Sunday with a 298 tally at Twin Dolphin Club to share 10th place.

The Cowboys' 14-over total tied them with Alabama at the par-71, 7,156-yard layout. Vanderbilt jumped out to a four-shot lead with an opening 280, finishing the day as the lone team under par.

Individually, Arkansas' Mateo Fernandez De Oliveira opened with a 67 to lead by one.

OSU competed with just four players in its lineup due to an injury to fifth year Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen. He will be replaced in the lineup for tomorrow's second round by senior Dillon Stewart.

Junior Bo Jin shared 11th place after posting an even-par 71.

Sophomore Jordan Wilson's 74 tied him for 34th place, while junior Jonas Baumgartner carded an opening 76 to stand in a tie for 48th place.

Fifth year Leo Oyo carded a 77 to finish the day tied for 56th place.
