Cowboys Set To Compete In Cabo

LOS CABOS, Mexico – Oklahoma State's men's golf will be back in action this weekend when it begins play at the Cabo Collegiate at Twin Dolphin Club.
The Cowboys will be one of 15 teams in action at the par-72, 7,156-yard layout. The 54-hole event will be contested over three days with action getting underway on Sunday. Play will get underway each day at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Head coach Alan Bratton's starting five will consist of fifth year Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and junior Jonas Baumgartner, who checked in at Nos. 10 and 12 in the latest Arnold Palmer Cup rankings, respectively. The duo will be joined by junior Bo Jin, fifth year Leo Oyo and sophomore Jordan Wilson.
OSU finished seventh at last year's event at Cabo Del Sol's Cove Club Course. This will be OSU's seventh appearance at the event with the Cowboys winning the first three starts in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Austin Eckroat claimed medalist honors in 2019 with a 14-under total of 199.
This week's event will mark OSU's second of the spring after a sixth-place showing at the Watersound Invitational last month.
