Cowboys Head to Arizona For N.I.T.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will look for its third consecutive N.I.T. title when it begins play this week at OMNI Tucson National.
The Cowboys will be one of 13 teams in action at the par-72, 7,200-yard layout. The field will play 36 holes on Friday followed by Saturday's final round.
This week's starting five will consist of fifth years Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and Leo Oyo, senior Hazen Newman as well as juniors Jonas Baumgartner and Bo Jin. Senior Dillon Stewart will compete individually.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad rolled to a 21-shot victory last year at the event, finishing with a tournament-record total of 811, 53-under par, while matching the tournament's previous best margin of victory.
Eugenio Chacarra fired a final-round 64 to cruise to a five-shot victory, smashing the tournament's individual scoring mark by three strokes with his 20-under total of 196.
In 2021, the Pokes finished with a 47-under total of 817 en route to a four-shot victory.
