Cowboys Set For Season Opener In Florida

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will get its spring slate underway this weekend when it travels to Florida to take part in the Watersound Invitational.

The Cowboys were originally scheduled to begin play at the Amer Ari Invitational earlier this month in Hawaii, but saw the event canceled due to high winds.

This week's event will be contested at Shark's Tooth Golf Course, a par 72, 7,246-yard layout.OSU will be one of 11 teams in action at the 54-hole event. The Cowboys will get their first round underway at 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Sunday and will be grouped with Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.

Sophomore Jordan Wilson will make his debut in the Cowboy starting five and will be joined by juniors Jonas Baumgartner and Bo Jin as well as fifth years Leo Oyo and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen.

Senior Dillon Stewart will compete individually.
