Game Notes:
• Oklahoma State pitched forth a strong opening effort on Sunday, taking an early 21-5 lead that included a 12-0 streak. The Cowboys pitched forth an all-around effort in the first half, with eight players scoring in a 35-26 lead. OSU held a double-digit lead for the majority of the second half, ending the contest with 10 players in the scoring column.
• The Cowboys held the Golden Hurricane to four assists on Sunday, tying for the fewest by an opponent in the Mike Boynton era. Wichita State logged four against OSU on Dec. 17, 2022. For the Hurricanes, it was their lowest output since Nov. 26, 2014, when they posted two against Oklahoma State.
• Redshirt freshman Isaiah Miranda made his collegiate debut as a member of the Cowboys on Sunday. The 7-foot-1 big man was a consensus four-star recruit in the Class of 2022, enrolling with NC State, but never saw game action.
• Javon Small, who entered Sunday as one of five players averaging 17.0+ points, 5.0+ rebounds and 5.0+ assists, had another impressive outing with 18 points and six rebounds. He also made a career-high 10 free throws on the day in 13 attempts.
• Quion Williams marked a career high with 12 points in the evening.
• Oklahoma State rolled out a starting lineup of Javon Small, Bryce Thompson, Quion Williams, Eric Dailey Jr. and Brandon Garrison.Â
Game Flow:
• Oklahoma State hit the ground running around the basket. Williams opened play with a right-three triple, assisted by Thompson, before the Cowboys rattled off four-straight baskets in the paint to lead 11-3 entering the first media timeout.
• The 11-3 stretch was highlighted by a two-man game between Garrison and Dailey Jr., which saw Dailey Jr. hammer down an alley-oop and transition and Garrison flush away a dump-off from his frontcourt partner.
• The Cowboys extended its run to 17-3, yielding a Golden Hurricane timeout. OSU extended its margin with a Dailey Jr. free throw and a layup and three from Small. All five starters scored in the opening spurt.
• OSU extended its run to 16-2, to lead 21-5. OSU held TU to a one-of-nine output in the stretch.Â

• Miranda and Jarred Hall exchanged Class A technical fouls after a hard foul from Miranda.

• Tulsa strung together a 15-5 closing run to the first half, cutting OSU to a 35-26 lead at halftime.Â
• The Cowboys restored their double-digit lead to open the second half, entering the second media timeout ahead, 47-30, off the heels of a Bryce Thompson three.
• The Golden Hurricane responded with a 7-0 run, forcing four Cowboys turnovers in a three-minute span.
• OSU recouped its 17-point lead entering the next media timeout, with Garrison charged a technical foul before the stoppage.
• Miranda received a Class B technical foul for hanging on the rim around an alley-oop attempt.
• Cobe Williams converted on a four-point play from the right corner to shrink OSU's lead to 11.
