• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will get its regular season underway on Oct. 6 when SIUE comes to town for a 5 p.m. contest inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• The Cowgirls posted a 14-3 mark last year at home, including a 7-1 mark in non-conference play.

• Oklahoma Christian became the eighth different in-state school the Cowgirls have hosted for exhibition play. The Lady Eagles joined Central Oklahoma, East Central, Northeastern State, Panhandle State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma State on that list.
