November 21, 2023 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team landed at No. 20 in the fourth edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings, which were released Tuesday night.
The Cowboys have been included in the CFP Rankings in four consecutive weeks, their first time doing so since being ranked in every poll of the 2021 season. OSU was No. 23 in last week's rankings before defeating Houston on Saturday.
OSU is one of four Big 12 teams included in Tuesday's rankings. Texas is the conference's highest-ranked member at No. 7, while No. 13 Oklahoma and No. 19 Kansas State round out the group. The Cowboys are currently in a three-way tie for second in the Big 12 with the Sooners and Wildcats.
The College Football Playoff Rankings will be announced every Tuesday until the CFP selection show in December, following the conference championship games.
Oklahoma State returns to action Saturday for the regular season finale in Boone Pickens Stadium, facing BYU at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
