Cowboys Rise in AP, Coaches Polls

STILLWATER – For the third straight week, the Oklahoma State football team was included in the Associated Press Top 25 and US LBM Coaches Poll, landing at No. 21 in both.
With just Saturday's matchup against BYU remaining in the 2023 regular season, Oklahoma State has been ranked in either the AP Top 25 or Coaches Poll entering its final game of the regular season in 10 of the past 14 seasons.
OSU is one of four Big 12 members ranked in this week's polls, as Texas leads the way at No. 7 in both and Oklahoma (No. 13/13) and Kansas State (No. 19/20) also in the mix. Kansas received votes in both rankings, while West Virginia earned votes in the Coaches Poll.
The Cowboys were ranked No. 23 and No. 24 last week prior to taking down Houston, 43-30, on Saturday. The win was OSU's sixth in its past seven games.
Oklahoma State's regular season finale against BYU on Saturday is slated for 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. At 8-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play, a win against the Cougars could potentially clinch OSU a spot in the Big 12 Championship game.
