Game Notes:
• Javon Small posted career highs with 29 points and 10 rebounds. After two points in the first half, the senior scored 27 of the Cowboys' 39 points across the second half and overtime.
• Small became the first Cowboy to tally 25+ points and 10+ rebounds in a game since Cade Cunningham on Feb. 27, 2021, at Oklahoma. It was OSU's sixth 25-point double-double since 2010.
• Quion Williams tied a career high with 11 rebounds, matching his total in round one of the 2023 NIT against Youngstown State on March 15.
• Notre Dame ended the first half on an 18-6 run, while Oklahoma State ended the second half on a 19-9 run to force overtime
• Javon Small, John-Michael Wright, Quion Williams, Eric Dailey Jr. and Brandon Garrison started for the Cowboys
• Garrison made his first career start for OSU
• Bryce Thompson missed his second-career game as a member of the Cowboys. Prior to Friday, he played in 68-of-69 games for Oklahoma State dating back to the 2021-22 season. Thompson last missed a contest on Dec. 13, 2021 against Cleveland State.

• Brandon Garrison scored the first points for the Cowboys, backing his man below the basket for a layup
• John-Michael Wright nailed a left-wing three at the horn to give OSU an early 7-3 edge – a pair of free throws widened the margin to 9-3
• Notre Dame responded with a 10-2 run, including an 8-0 run stamped by back-to-back Carey Booth threes
• OSU restored its lead working around the basket with 16 of its first 21 points coming in the paint
• The Cowboys secured the ball early, going without a turnover for the first 12 minutes of play
