Cowboys in the NFL: Week Five

STILLWATER – There was a number of solid performances across the board from former Cowboy Football players as week five of the NFL season came and went last week. Here's some of the highlights:
In the midweek game on Thursday night, Teven Jenkins made his season debut for the Chicago Bears, after dealing with a leg injury that kept him out at the beginning of the season. Jenkins didn't miss a beat, as the former Cowboy played 37 snaps without allowing a sack or even a QB pressure in the Bears 40-20 win over the Washington Commanders.
It was a battle between two past OSU standout running backs Sunday afternoon, as Justice Hill and Jaylen Warren each took the field for their respective teams in a meeting between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Sunday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium.
Warren came out on the winning side of the matchup, as he helped his Steelers to a 17-10 win over Hill's Ravens. The former Poke not only rushed for 40 yards on nine carries, but he also made his presence felt through the air as he caught three receptions for 39 yards, including this tough 16-yard gain.
Hill rushed for Baltimore's lone touchdown of the day, finishing with 32 yards on seven attempts, while also pitching in with four receptions for 13 yards.
It was another huge performance from Tyreek Hill this week as his Miami Dolphins continued their impressive offensive season thus far. Hill snagged eight catches for 181 yards and a touchdown as the Dolphins handled the New York Giants, 31-16. Hill and his Dolphins have totaled 2,568 yards so far this season, which set a new NFL record for the most total yards of offense through the first five weeks. On the season, Hill has tallied 36 receptions for 651 yards and five touchdowns.
While the Dolphins' offense steals the headlines, don't let Emmanuel Ogbah and the Dolphins' defense go unnoticed. Ogbah helped hold the Giants to only 16 points and the former OSU defensive lineman notched two tackles and 1.5 sacks.
After being released from the Dallas Cowboys last week, former Cowboy linebacker Devin Harper suited up as a Cincinnati Bengal for the first time last week. In his first game with his new team, Harper chipped in with a tackle as the Bengals took care of business against the Arizona Cardinals, 34-20.
