Oklahoma State No. 22 in First College Football Playoff Rankings of 2023

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team was ranked No. 22 in the first edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings, released Tuesday evening.

The Cowboys have now been included in the CFP Rankings in eight of the past nine seasons.

OSU is one of five Big 12 teams ranked in the initial poll and is joined by No. 7 Texas, No. 9 Oklahoma, No. 21 Kansas and No. 23 Kansas State.
The College Football Playoff Rankings will be announced every Tuesday until the CFP selection show in December, following the conference championship games.

The Cowboys return to action Saturday, playing Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
