STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State Cowboy football alumni continued to make waves with their performances in week eight of the NFL season. A look at some of the highlights:
Justice Hill and his Baltimore Ravens came out 31-24 winners over the Arizona Cardinals in an exciting contest on Sunday afternoon. Hill logged 15 yards on four carries, but made his presence felt more through the air, as he snagged four catches for 40 yards in the victory.
Jaylen Warren turned in another solid performance for the Pittsburgh Steelers as him and Najee Harris continued their battle for RB1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The former Cowboy ran for 19 yards on five carries, while picking up 19 yards through the air on four receptions, including this grab where he displayed his athleticism as he made multiple defenders miss on this 11-yard gain.
Tyreek Hill just continues to break records in his historic season with the Miami Dolphins. Hill churned out 112 yards on 8 receptions and added this 42-yard bomb that he caught in the endzone for his eighth touchdown of the year.
With his performance on Sunday, Hill has become the first player in the Super Bowl era to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in the first eight games of the season. The former Poke travels overseas next week, to take on the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in the NFL's first game in Frankfurt, Germany.
Colts head coach Shane Steichen announced last week that former OSU Cowboy Jelani Woods is nearing a return from injury after starting the season on the IR due to a hamstring injury. In his rookie campaign last season, Woods saw action in 15 games, grabbing 25 catches for 312 yards and three touchdowns.
