Cowgirl Softball Claims 13-1 Win Over USAO

STILLWATER, Okla. –Three Oklahoma State pitchers combined to allow just one hit and no earned runs to lead the Cowgirls to a 13-1 victory over USAO Tuesday night at Cowgirl Stadium.
Kyra Aycock and Katie Kutz collected three strikeouts, with Ivy Rosenberry collecting five, and together allowed one hit over ten innings of work.
Scotland David and Audrey Schneidmiller spearheaded the offense with both hitting a three-run home run and Micaela Wark added a solo homer as well.
The Cowgirls jumped to an 8-0 lead after four innings, highlighted by Wark's second-inning rocket over the left-center field fence and David's three-run shot in the fourth. OSU added another run in the eighth and four in the 10th, capped by a three-run homer from Schneidmiller.
The fall exhibition schedule continues when the Cowgirls host Seminole State College at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Cowgirl Stadium. Admission is free for all fans.
