Peyre Earns Main Draw Berth in Texas

TYLER, Texas – Lucia Peyre of the Oklahoma State women's tennis team earned two wins to advance to the main draw of the ITF Tyler 80k pro circuit event in Tyler, Texas, on Tuesday.
After a rainout today, play resumed Tuesday morning, with Peyre earning her first win over Australian Alexandra Osborne, 6-4, 6-2. She followed that with a dominant performance in a, 6-2, 6-1, victory over Anita Sahdiieva from Ukraine.
Play will continue Wednesday with the first round of the main draw, with match times and opponents still to be determined. Fans can follow along through live scoring and select live streaming in the ITF website.
